Career Summary

Jan Robertson joined the company in 1981 and has enjoyed incredible opportunities for upward mobility within the firm ever since. She became a partner in 1993, the first female partner since the company’s formation in 1932, CFO in 2005, and CEO in 2011. Over the years, Jan was directly responsible for a variety of areas including property management, litigation, accounting, personnel and contracts. When the company reorganized in 2015, she subsequently negotiated the sale of their brokerage and property management divisions. Her current role as Chief Operating Officer of Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies, LLC, the holding company, includes operations management and board oversight for that entity which is the parent company to four wholly-owned operating companies: Morrison Street Capital, Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services, NBS Real Estate Consulting, and The REFF Group.
